It's here, at last... Alien: Isolation is available on Linux and Mac.
As far as I can tell, it's currently exclusive to +Steam (I've checked GOG and Desura and there is no sign of it, and the official +Alien: Isolation website links only to console and Windows versions).
+Valve are offering a 50% discount making the game just £15.99. This is a temporary promotion ending at 5pm GMT on 29th October.
The game has received a number of good reviews, +Metacritic shows an aggregate 81 metascore, and 8.1 user score. It won a BAFTA for audio achievement in 2015 (get those headphones or surround speakers ready, if you can handle the suspense!), along with nominations in a further 5 categories, including best game.
Thanks to Creative Assembly and +Feral Interactive for bringing this well-received game to Linux.
With full controller support, Steam Controller release date just around the corner and Steam Home Streaming now working well on Linux machines, you've little excuse not to get this AAA title on Linux now and be found cowering in the corner of your lounge late at night!
